FAQS

Find answers to common questions we’re frequently asked about our services and systems.

Do you have appointment availability on weekends?

Sales appointments are available on most days.  Installations however are usually only done during business hours Monday- Friday.

How long does a typical installation take?

Every job is unique as every home is built differently.  We provide custom installations and can install equipment wherever you would like.  Installations for water softeners can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours depending on the job.  A reverse osmosis unit only takes 45 minutes to an hour and a half to install.

Where do you install the equipment at my house?

There are several different types of equipment that can be installed at your home.  Reverse Osmosis units are typically installed under a kitchen sink.  Water Softeners and whole house conditioners/filters can be installed directly at the point of entry to your home.  This is typically where you shut your water off to your home

What is your scheduling like?

Sometimes we can schedule next day.  If the next day or few days is unavailable, we usually have availability a week out.

Why would I want a water softener instead of a whole house filter?

A whole house filter will provide good tasting water at every faucet in your home.  A water softener will provide benefits of protecting appliances, faucets, showerheads, and glass shower doors from scale build up.  Water softeners will provide naturally hydrated skin and hair.  Water softeners provide the elimination of scale that a whole house filter will not

Is soft water ok to drink?

Soft water is safe to drink!  Only those who are restricted on a low sodium diet prescribed by their doctor shouldn’t drink it.  For those interested, you can have soft water and reverse osmosis installed at your home together!
